Bear Community, I need your wisdom :)
The last five days on bear were interesting. I started this blog as an experiment — my main blog is still on Pika. For now. I saw a lot of cool stuff from this community, so I jumped ship and signed up. Wanted to get a feel for it. At first I was put off by the minimalism approach. But after I saw what Robert, Sylvia and all the other bear creators did with this platform, I began the tinkering.
My main focus is, you guess it, posting photos. But I got tired of the Instagram hamster wheel. I don't want to feed an algorithm, and I don't want a pure photo community like Glass either. I wanted the option to write more than photo descriptions whenever I feel like it.
I'm quite happy with what I got in these few days. And I didn't expect that much feedback.
But here comes my main problem. As you can see here or here, I'm posting a lot of pictures. I'm using the awesome lightbox gallery from Robert. But posting, especially, from my iPhone becomes more or less a pain in the ass because there is no inline picture preview. Maybe I need to adjust my workflow and slow down instead of posting right away. But maybe someone in this community has tips on how they handle posting pictures from mobile without getting lost and crazy 🤪 If you have any ideas or tips, I'd love to hear from you. Drop me a mail.
And since you made it this far - here is one of my favorite summer photos.
Cheers, Harry

Btw. This is officially my longest post ever. 😉
